I admit it sometimes Rameau, or Bouzignac don't hit the spot the spot for me. There are times when I crave a mars bar something a bit crash bangy. At such times I turn to Handel. What better start to a holiday than driving just barely under the speed limit deeper and deeper into the Auvergne with "Zadok the Priest" belting out at full blast? Ah bliss
This performance is by Les Petits Chanteurs de Sainte-Croix de Neuilly who performed it at a gala concert on the 25th of March 2010, in Saint Pierre de Neuilly Church as part of the centenary celebrations of the founding of the Diocese of Sainte-Croix de Neuilly. What is there to say about "Zadok The Priest" that hasn't been said before? The lyrics are below the video. Enjoy :-)

And all the people rejoic'd, rejoiced and said:
God save the king! Long live the king!
May the king live for ever!
Amen! Amen! Alleluia!
